Help, not working

|
I just tried to use Brawl Minus and the only changes I notice are the CSS, shields, and not being able to control the character for a couple seconds after hit. I can't see any of the character specific changes and the font on the CSS is the same. I have Wii 3.2U, latest HBC, latest Gecko OS, latest Brawl-, I don't see what I'm doing wrong. HELP PLEASE!

In this case you probably misplaced the private folders. Are you PAL or NTSC? If you're PAL, go to private/wii/APP/RSBE and rename that folder RSBP, then go to private/wii/APP/RSBE/pf/menu2/sc_selcharacter.pac and remove that; then go to private/wii/APP/RSBE/pf/system/common3.pac and remove that (the former removal is because PAL doesn't have the CSS fix code, the latter is because common3, which hasn't been ported yet, causes crashes for PAL). If you are NTSC, see if you have private/wii/APP/RSBE. |

I'm NTSC and I do have that folder, like I said the character select screen actually changed, just no different moves for the characters.

Yea, I got it from the install guide on this site and I put it in the root of my SD card. I just tried changing the textures, and that isn't working either, not on the characters, nor the stages. I'm not sure if that helps anyone figure out what's wrong, but it's also a problem. What exactly is it that changes the character's moves? Is it the .pac files, is there some code that needs to accompany that? My .gct doesn't have anything about character's moves. |

You should try using the installer, it installs everything for you incase you missed it.

I used it, and can't select the bottom half of the char list o_O along with my GC controllers not working on anything ran through Gecko os for some unknown reason, it seems any time that i try to do something cool with hacks, it turns out to not work right in some way  .also i can't start the match with only me and computers, i MUST have another player... |

Nah, installer didn't work, same problem, only noticeable thing changed is the CSS, shields, and vulnerability in midair after hit is longer. I've already tried 2 different SD cards, and since some of the changes work I don't think that would be the problem, is there anything I need to do to load the gameconfig? or is that automatic? should I use the latest Gecko OS, is there some little trick to this I'm not getting??

Do you have a folder named fighter in SD/private/wii/app/pf/? and if so, make sure every folder in fighter has a .pac file in it |

JESUS CHRIST!!! Well, thank you guys, I really don't know what the problem is, may never know, but it's working using Riivolution and the auto installer for me, so if anyone else has a problem, try this route. THANK YOU GUYS!!
