Link can do a short hopped back air to a double jumped back air in Project M just like he could in melee. I need help getting it down and doing it consistently. I tried holding back as I slid my thumb across Y down to A but the input is to fast this way because it does not do the Aerial. I understand this is because there is so much time after a jump that you are not allowed to do any aerials although with your double jump you can instantly do aerials out of it. So I was wondering is there anyone here that uses his SH Bair to DJ BAir or even uses his sh bair to waveland because I am having trouble with the insane timing for both. Any tips would be helpful. I only get either every now and then and it sucks.

Ummm... Practice the timing? Lol there's nothing harder about this than doing an aerial ASAP out of a jump is for any other character.

Well the timing is super strict. Its harder than with other characters. Doing it ASAP is too soon...

Perhaps practicing instant uairs with mario and Falcon could help you with the timing? and once those are semi consistant go back to link.
