Unfortunately we're not here with news of a release, but we've got something cool for you regardless. Project M Demo v2.1 will be featured at MELEE-FC10R Legacy in South Bend, IN on August 12-14! FC Legacy is the latest in a series of Super Smash Bros. Melee tournaments known for their organization, attendance, and hype dating back to 2004. With registration not even closed yet (Wednesday, August 1st is the deadline, folks! Melee-FC website to register!), the Project M event's pre-registration has already hit record numbers for PM tournament history, and with the all-too familiar tendency of smashers to register at the last minute, it's probably going to shatter any previous records by quite a bit. To add to the hype, dedicated PMBR video editor Octorox has made a trailer for the Project M event at FC-Legacy. Take a look: With big names such as Kage, Hungrybox, Darkrain, Axe, and Wobbles already confirmed, and more surely to come as the procrastinators register later this week, this event is going to have some amazingly hype matches and great Project M play! While it's doubtful many of you reading this now are able to suddenly confirm on such short notice, this is definitely PM-news worthy and the tournament is sure to come out with some great videos for everyone to enjoy. As of right now, Project M should be streamed at some point. There aren't any scheduling conflicts so as long as we run on schedule, w/e game is currently happening will be streamed.

Anyway, on the video, I love when instruments like these are used for videos instead of any kind of vocals. It makes it so much more better.

Just FYI to all, that number will probably spike over 130 because we're allowing adds at the door. Hype indeed. $1k pot is guaranteed, and we'll still take entry at the door if you want to attend - $70 for PM Entry Singles and Doubles, 2 lunches (Monday/Tuesday), and friendlies in the venue for three days! |
