Ok so i have

hombrew channel via letter bomb

micro sd card

sdcard reader

ok the problem is that i load up through gecko os and when i click training
mode brawl or anything else that lets me select a character it freezes but when i go subspace emmisary i dosent freeze and i tried takeing out the sdcard after it freezes still no good can you help

It might be because you're using a micro SD card instead of a regular one.

I'm having this same issue, and I have no idea why I'm getting it. My SD card is normal, too. I tried even taking out the common5 file, and that didn't solve the issues... Then again, I'm also getting soft freezes at the result screen...

If it's not the SD card, then I'm not sure what it could be. But I had this issue a week ago where my CSS kept freezing when I picked Ike, and I think its probably because something went wrong when editing my common5 in BrawlBox. And like Cadet said, I tried changing the common5 (and other files, too) and it didn't fix my freezing. So I just went ahead and deleted everything, and reinstalled it from the ground up. Works 100% for me now.

I know that your problems may not be exactly the same as mine, but I still think deleting and reinstalling everything might do the trick for you. And if you have any changes, make a backup of your files so you don't lose them.

I'm not running public though. It might be that code that ST gave me... Probably not, though.
