Attaching Wallclinging to Zair?

Just curious if it would be remotely possible to program something along those lines into the game so it could be slightly more similar to Melee's zair physics. It'd still be pretty different but at least there would be more options.

Not yet at least. I'm sure PMBR will figure it out. They do want to get as close to melee physics as possible, of course.

Just curious, if this input became possible to code, would you have the current one removed? Why or why not? Why is there need for the change in the first place?

I prefer the melee zair physics because it makes my recovery more unpredictable but the brawl is still pretty cool too, so for me it doesn't matter to much.

I'd want the current one to be removed simply because I wouldn't want the hookshot reaching for the ledge all the time. It'd screw with my recovery because it'd hit higher than I want the hookshot to go. |

If there were Melee tethers, I could recover from under FoD with characters like Samus who have a tether and walljump. Unfortunately, I can't do that now because there are no ledges for Brawl tethers to home into and grab.

Yeah, I'd have the current one removed because a zair wallcling would give you significantly more options than the current system like other people have mentioned. Though I might prefer to leave certain characters with the Brawl zair physics (LUCAS) because his UpB wouldn't work too well with a wallcling. But others (LINK) would get a huge boost from this ability. There isn't necessarily a need to change it, but I reeeally miss my recovery options with Link (and him wallclinging with his zair would make sense since he's using the clawshot >_>). |

I don't suppose it's possible to edit stages so that walls have ledges inside them that tethers can reach but up-Bs cannot?
