Can the SD card I use have files on it that do not pertain to PM or does the SD card need to be completely empty for it to work correctly?

Bump, have been trying for 2 days with no results. Cannot get PM to run. Some more information for anyone who thinks they can help: There is a custom Brawl stage on my Wii called "Skies Alive", I'm pretty sure my first attempt at getting PM to work is what caused it to be there. Now I cannot get rid of it no matter what I do, I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps listed in the illustrated installation guide and tried "forcefully deleting" it with the time change method. Still did not work. PM will not start for me the way it should and it seems to be because that stage is there and I cannot get rid of it. I chose the correct installation type (Full Set Hackless Wii), have a 1GB SD card, have deleted all custom stages except for Skies Alive since I literally can't get rid of it... I seriously have no idea what else there is for me to try. It just doesn't work. |

You absolutely need to get rid of that stage. That's your #1 issue, otherwise you cannot run P:M.

It was put on there when I attempted to run PM the first time so I figured you guys would know what it is and how to get rid of it... because it seems I cannot through any normal means. |

Skies Alive was definitely not something we put there. Have you turned off Smash Service in your WiFi options and then tried fast-forwarding the Wii's clock?

Thanks for your help, got it working. ![]() Doing the time change method after turning off Smash Service got rid of the stage. I am happy to say I can now enjoy Project: M! |
