Aerial Glide Tosses

|
So I'm a Melee player, but in the writeup it mentioned aerial glide toss? How do you do these? Also, is a regular glide toss where you cancel your roll animation with a turnip throw? |

|
Glide tosses are shield rolling and quickly flicking the cstick at close to the same time in order to throw the item during the beginning frames of the roll. Aerial glide tosses are done in the same way.

So the aerial glide toss is basically cancelling your air dodge with a throw??

With an item throw, yes. Not quite a lot of momentum is there, but it can certainly help approaching and such.

Yes, it is. You can use it as a slight option for recovery if you do it vertically as well. It's a very cool AT.

Airdodge in a direction -> direction+A or C stick to throw item

I can do this up with great success but trying to do it left and right gives very little momentum. Am I doing it wrong or is it just not as potent of a horizontal option?
