Falcon's second jump (OF THREE!!) should get him to a higher height, faster. In Melee a big aspect was using the 2nd jump as fast as possible because the 2nd jump was so fast compared to his first. It'd be nice to have that back, and would make forward-B -> Forward-Air combo on more characters. He also needs a third jump. He is far too easy to gimp. Marth can 0-edgeguard-KO him off of a grab, and characters like Jigglypuff, Pikachu, and Luigi have too great horizontal movement that falcon cannot recover. Falcon's damage is awesome and his combo ability is awesome and his ground game is awesome, but in a game where every other character can recover from anywhere on the screen on top of their superb pressure off the stage, falcon needs better (while still being, in comparison, below average) recovery. Just my thoughts!! |

Falcon should get his second jump back from falcon kick, as said 300 million times. He's not THAT easy to gimp. DI up and use raptor boost and whatnot. |

Falcon is almost OP onstage and his recovery is the only thing really that he lacks in. I think it's a good balance.

It's true that I definitely need to take advantage of his improved raptor boost more, but raptor boost is 100% ineffective against higher priority moves. |

captain falcon is almost impossible to gimp lol side b reaches the stage from offscreen almost AND you can jump after it AND use up b which has great priority for the grab box and the hitbox at the end however falcon kick returning second jump would make a great mix up raptor boost doesnt lose to many things at all, and if you're getting spiked out of it, you are doing it wrong. |

Seriously GangstaKirby if you didn't say you were a troll in your sig I'd still be feeding you =-). And Rkey, as soon as Bowser is changed I'm pretty confident top tier characters will all have excellent recovery mixup options, that is to say they can avoid being attacked while making their way back onto the stage. It won't be a direct relation (e.g. mewtwo in melee or jigglypuff in vbrawl) but all the best characters will have amazing recovery options. |

seriously captain isnt easy to gimp lol. but im all for falcon kick = fresh second jump but havin a straight up 3rd jump is dumb, it doesnt even make sense, he is a people, people cant fly, if he were a bird bat balloon or pink sphere alien however id give him a few extras |

fair enough! Falcon should not have a third jump. However maybe a shorter aerial down-B so that he can recover his 2nd jump 2-3 times per recovery? Seriously though... falcon is pretty easy to gimp. an opponent can watch the startup of forward B and then hit you with a higher priority move (which there are a lot of!). You can even grab c.falc out of it on the ground if you are excepting it. I dunno GangstaKirby... are you sure you're not trolling? |

Dude it doesn't need to kill, it doesn't need to be any stronger at all. it just needs FIRE!!!!! Yeah trust me... I save my jump. And I can meteor cancel... And uhh... well I mean I dunno what else to say except that you and I see differently and well that's okay with me. |

dude, theres no point in fire nair, plus it would change the hitlag of nair by alot even if you can do all that you still have to recover smartly, you prolly like raptor boost at marths and jiggly puffs all day |

raptorboost goes over projectiles so they help you recover. and if you are awesome, you dont get hit offstage. ever. save a charged pauwnch to keep them off you. its not even hard.
