Suggestions for LUCAS

@TSON, there is really nothing wrong with things getting Kirked. The move was rediculous before, not as some B- BRoomers like to call LOL, Minusy, etc, just stupid. It's not just about the casuals, the game has to be balanced/playable in competition or you are going against half of the goals of the project imo.

Wait, did I miss a version of B- where this move was completely insane, or are we talking about the vBrawl version of the move?

ITT: Guy who doesn't know me assumes I'm casual because I get mad when people forget casuals and makes hypothesis on move he probably didn't see before when it worked how it was intended to (AND NO, BREAKING SHIELDS ISNT HOW IT WAS INTENDED TO WORK D:<)

Never assumed that you were casual, just said you have to appeal to both. I live 30 minutes from Kirk, and help him playtest every build.

It worked perfectly before he came back to the project. The first thing he did was nerf it. So you wouldn't have seen it.

vbrawl PK freeze would be better, honestly it seems like shields in brawl- just get chipped away at in seconds by most characters anyway. I find myself spot dodging almost all the time because shielding just puts me in bad positions.

Maybe just less cooldown on the PK freeze and leave it the same.

you make it sound like this is a jab... it's PK freeze, not exactly a fast attack (at least not fast in brawl- since everything is faster)

I agree with a set time, maybe 1-1.5 seconds before a break so the guy has to be basically on top of Lucas for him to really do anything crazy out of it.

maybe make pk freeze like a controllable ness pk fire hitbox except weak ice hits, like press b and then have free movement at some point while having motion control over it, every ravelight flash is a hitbox

Thinking about gangstakirby's idea, How about instead of doing that flashing multiple hit thing, what if the move just worked like Lucas's PK Thunder- That is, the first hit of PKT1. It could pass over an opponent, deal a set amount of damage (or maybe damage that lowers as the move stays out longer) and when he releases it, the hitbox simply disappears. It would make a fair bit of sense given the animation of the move: A flashing giant snowflake compared to the puff of cool air it lets out upon release. And I'm sure there wouldn't be too many Lucases displeased with the transition from a slow to activate, hard to hit move to one that damages opponents any time during it's motion.

As for the element of the hit, I'd say freeze would be best if using the "Gets weaker as it's held out" approach, while the current element (stun?) would work best with the consistent damaging version.

If anything else, it would be a nice idea to try out.

The point is that you can cancel the PK Freeze whenever you wanted, but I agree with GK, it's pointless.

As hypocritical as this is (having said the entire time to have them vastly different), I wish it were the same as Ness's, with it exploding upon hitting the ground, or else something completely different, like Ice Climber's Blizzard. I dunno, SOMETHING "Freeze" related.
