Let's see, I just picked up the 2.1.1 patch version, if I'm not mistaken, so I'll go ahead and assume if someone is still possibly working on the project they might see this...

Ok, here goes:

1. I noticed you guys changed uptilt and upsmash back to vbrawl configurations, and I was wondering as to why that was. (Personally I liked being able to charge the heart burst, like how it was in earlier brawl- versions)

2. I'm not particularly fond of airplucking, the being unable to do much afterwards is kinda annoying. (I mean I can deal with it, but it's not something I myself find useful at all...)

3. I love the ability to stop your momentum from the sideB cancel whenever you want, that is the best thing I've seen for her so far.

4. I was playing around on bridge of eldin with a com (peach double) and I noticed two things. The first being if I dash attacked then followed with the parasol at the perfect time, I could hit a single character about 4-6 times in the parasol part alone, with the last hit being quite powerful, knockback-wise. (I call that move Dragon-Tail, if anyone cares, though on bridge of eldin it still won't kill until 180%+ish) It has kinda odd timing to work though, usually right around the first hit of the dash.

The other thing was if I failed the timing miserably, I would instead pluck a turnip while keeping the dash momentum for the whole animation, thus going about the length of "boswer standing still" further than I'd intended. It's entirely possible that my flicking of the control stick is to blame here, but it happened with such an odd consistency I felt it needed to be mentioned. (Its also quite possible the parasol can trap people for a 4-6 hit cycle without the dash, but it just doesn't have the dragon-tail feel to it...)

*looks back at typing* Well 4 went on a bit longer than I thought it would...

Well, this is just comments from someone who was up at 2 am on a friday night (saturday morning?), bored out of my mind and deciding smash would be a fun way to pass the time. Make of this what you will.

Oh, and the dash-parasol thing, if I failed the timing a little bit, it usually did maybe one hit with rather weak knockback if it didn't pluck a turnip instead. (I just remembered that now)

Another thing (I played another match to try and make sure) the parasol does do multiple hits (and oddly the knockback seems to go up with each successive hit adding up for the final bit or something, so each missed hit takes from the final knockback) on its own, but the wierd turnip-fail-slide continues. (it seems to happen more often when my opponent shields the first hit of the dash) To be fair, the slide does help escaping immediate revenge, so I'm not upset over its existence.

Ok, to bed with me so I don't keep adding to this one post... (It wasn't edited, I just kept adding before I actually posted)

Well, this is a late reply but:

1) from my experience, the regular upsmash is better, despite how cute the uptilt looks and fits with her character, and peach needs all the help she can get, shes not an easy character... of course I wasnt playing as often back then, so I could be wrong, Ive gotten a lot better with peach since then.

2) Yeah, youre totally right, air plucking is beyond garbage, really plucking is garbage. I usually only bother after a kill, you can usually toss three or so up in the air from the side of a stage while they are respawning, it creates a little bit of a shield and is good for getting them into the air near the ledge, where from my experience peach is at her best, also you can sometimes get lucky and pull the bomb or pitfall, pretty much everything else is complete rubbish.
Oh and I suppose against some recoveries if you space just perfectly you can get quite a few hits throwing the turnip just over the ledge against someone trying to recover, although its pretty much luck at that point.

3) yeah sideB is amazing, and really what makes peach fun in my mind, I wouldnt want them to touch it at all... well except maybe adding a little more distance to it if you allow the move to complete...

4) Could you tell me how much damage exactly the upB does, Ive tried it a few times but havent gotten the timing down yet, just trying to figure out if its better than other options like dtilting out of dash and stuff

Air plucking I agree is very situational, but ground plucking is great. Turnips are amazing items, have you seen Armada play lately? Turnips are staples to Peach's bait game. Also if you know how to use turnips you can gimp fox, capt, and a couple other characters if done right

I don't know why you decided to mention Armada; Melee Peach and Minus Peach are very different characters. And items reacted much more differently (in my opinion, items had much more drastic effects on the match) in Melee, due to the physics and whatnot.

Yes, I agree they can still be good for some decent ledge guarding against some characters, but with all of Peach's new options to bait in Minus, turnips have become much less essential and useful in comparison to those options.

I mentioned Armada just for the theory of using turnips. I agree Peach has more bait options than in Melee, but turnips are still a fantastic item

Turnips also couldn't be shielded in Melee though.

Well like, they could, but they didn't lose their hitbox when they hit a shield.

They bounced off shields. Really helped add to her shield pressure game.

Oh god, I totally forgot that they bounced off shields in Melee. See, I knew there was something that made them seem so much more effective then than they are now. Yeah, that would make them WAY better, that's actually a decent idea. I assume we can code that.

I agree, that should go in and should have been in Brawl to begin with. But you know,

桜井~~~~~~~~!

Huh, looks weird in Kanji.

さくらい~~~~~~~!
