No, I was just talking about his idea for uair to drag your opponent down some so you can continue combos when they get to high.

Yeah, that was my old uair idea. I actually like the new one, though. New Samus is great. She's fun to play, fun to play against, and solidly mid-tier.

What does the new one do differently? also I dont think she is mid tier anymore with morph ball >>>>>>>>shielding>>rolling. and with Rai's roll, that shit is crazy; idk how to punish a samus when they morphball instead of shielding lul.

Mulitihit moves will catch you in the shield animation. Depending on which way you are rolling the attack will catch you. If you're rolling forwards attacks can hit you, if you're always going backwards then its nigh impossible to get hit.

Wait no...I thought you only changed her roll? I was just referring to Samus just morph balling away from you instead of shielding/spot dodging/rolling.

And can you tell me what exactly you did with your mod? I know you can double roll and grab basically out of the roll. What else can you do? Did I hear you saying you can cancel it into attacks on certain frames?

Samus' roll is different from every other character because it has something like 8 frames of getting into morph ball animation, 23 frames of intangible morph ball movement (from what I see the usual time of a roll) and then 8 more frames returning to standing from morph ball... or at least that is what brawl minus data was AND still is. All I did was take the last 8 frames and make them interrupt-able. That means that if shield is held you can immediately do another roll. You can also d-tilt, dsmash, jab, ftilt, run, walk, jump, down-b... anything instead of those last 'unmorph-ball' frames.

Code wise all i did was find the place where it says "return" which is something like 00 00 00 08 and replaced it with interrupt which is 64 00 00 00.
Thats it.
Its offset 0x01670 I think...
or maybe 0x01690...

Even with DI, it still connects. Most of the time.
