I shat bricks. Not even joking. This is the single most amount of hype I have ever experienced. I literally cannot wait for the full release of PM now. This is just... I... I finally understand the meaning of the term "instant boner". Yeah. I just said that. Deal with it.

how strict is the timing of each move cancel? Is it about as strict as an L-cancel?

OK... You know, this is really cool and all... but... it looks like you just put a brawl minus character into a game where everyone else isn't broken... (watches charizard video) OMG!!!! never mind... Well, you get my point, what I just saw would be pretty broken, even for minus. And as cool as it is, I don't think that lucario should get all this love. It doesn't make sense that he's the ONLY character that gets supers, and no one else. I think you're overrating him a bit, and that he's going to be god tier at this rate. Just voicing my concerns. Sorry if I sounded mad. Well, the truth is... I BLOODY DONE BE MAD!

[/quote] Ok, but it really is seeming that he is. Thanks for clearing that up. But the bigger picture of why I'm a little irritated is because I don't get why ONLY Lucario gets supers now. Of all the characters... Lucario? It just seems like the entire gameplay mechanics change for Lucario ONLY. That's my problem. It kinda seems like you're overrating him a bit. I won't like project M, because I hated melee, but I think what you guys are trying to do is to recreate melee, but with brawls roster and graphics. With lucario I think you're straying from that path a little, or more than a little. One more question; after seeing lucario and charizards vids it kinda seems like you guys are headed in more of a minusy direction rather than a meleeish direction, or rather a minus with something more akin or identical mechanics as melee. Not melee with good graphics and a larger roster. |

|
Being creative is not some aspect that Brawl Minus has a monopoly on. Project M has plenty of opportunity to have fun and unique characters, and that's what we're going for. Nor is that a recent design decision. Snake is a rather unique character as well, and he's been around since before the Project M Demo (Which was released this February.) |
