Some Peach- Ideas

I'm a peach main and I'd love to see her take her broken game to the next level. However, I've played her in - 1.0 and I have to say she doesnt feel very broken. Yes, granted her Side B can cancel and 2 floats is amazing. but besides that + Fthrow, she really doesnt seem that much changed. I know theres more, but I'm looking at the big differences. Not knocking the guy who did peach- (I think xyless) but the graphical animations are pointless. HeartPetals on skip and Dair jsut seem silly. Can she have her melee Dsmash back? Melee second jump. Plucks more random items than just the beamsword, bomb and Mr saturn. Not saying make the chances higher. Just give her more items to randomly pluck so that the chances are slightly better for her to actually pluck one. Nothing retarded broken like a power star or a hammer, but I think it'd be cool to throw in a small chance for Mr Freezie, Capsule, Fan, Banana Peel, Fire Flower, Pitfall seed, Deku Nut, Smart bomb or hell... Giant Mushroom. heh, with those chances, you can even program in an occasion gimp with a poison mushroom as well. Just a thought. I wonder if it would be possible to program a single face of her turnips to have a new effect. Considering the '.' turnip has a high damage ratio, and the Stitch Faced turnip is like its own kill move. Is it possible to texture one of her turnips black (or pain a bomb on it) and have it explode like Toon links bombs? Ya know, with same same hitbox and all that. That way she has at least 1 guaranteed "random" pluck that will show itself each match. Air dodge out of first umbrella, but not the second? Just some ideas. |

Hearts are awesome, and should stay in. You can't say it's silly to have hearts on her walk, her walk is the best in the game. But yeah, melee d-smash. I really want that too.

Ehm... Did you just say that melee d-smash is not broken? We had it deal... I think 82% damage once.

most likely yeah, anyway, I totally support melee dsmash to add to her brokeness, Melee float speed would also help, but we already have two floats so w/e

The point that any of her attacks have hearts is silly in the first place in vBrawl, I just added it to moves where I felt it fit her best. I have a write-up of plans for each face, but I'm not really revealing it to anyone since I like having some suprises. One that I'll reveal is the stitchface acting like the Deku Nut on the ground, stunning...since it represents the stitchface...face...well. It isn't possible to change the color of the turnips (well, it'd change all of the turnips), but I could look into changing the faces, which I didn't think about. Might make for some great new aspects of the turnip. A few things you're overlooking (maybe oversimplifying, but I'll mention it anyway): -Forward Smash is controllable (up tilted brings frying pan, down tilted brings racket, normal fsmash does club). Also, knockback was greatly increased. -Toad can be interrupted immediately after he activates (when spores come out), so you aren't helpless -Side B is an amazing mindgame and spacing tool, which makes her completely unpredictable -Uair is a powerful juggling tool, considering it's unchanged and vBrawl Peach can already juggle characters to, like, 70%. With the added hitstun, it's possible to go even further if you play her right. Plus if you used the Peach- that was made before mine, you would've known why I went simple instead of over-the-top damage racker. Peach is in the same boat as Kirby, ZSS, and MK, in that they are aerial combo whores, so buffs have to be very carefully placed, otherwise the character will be unbalancedly broken. |

Went back and played with all the things you recommended. I gotta say I was quite mistaken about alot of it. I've recently given up B+ for B- and I have been playing this game like B+ haha so forgive me for not knowing about some of the changes. I didn't notice that on the Fsmash, good thinking! And she should be able to pluck out smokeball too, just to add to the variety. I feel like fire flower wouuldnt be the worst thing, considering it is from her franchise. I mean it's annoying, but at least it runs out fairly quickly and isn't going to kill you. Oh and to add to the variety, maybe she could pull out team healer? Just because it would be really random in 1v1. And cool for team matches.

I love the idea of adding alternate turnips. Stitchy is something horrifying that completely changes the pace of the game (especially back in melee), and having something slightly more common, but slightly less devastating might be interesting. One of my first thoughts is adding a turnip with heavy shield damage and shield stun perhaps. Shielding tends to be extremely safe for turnips, and mixing that up might be interesting. I had another thought that's a completely different direction for turnips though. Is it possible to make the throw animation cancel into ground attacks? I'd love to see Peach get sliding ground attacks from glide tosses. Maybe something similar to Jigglypuff's or Falco's DACUS in slide distance, only into any ground attack. That and the ability to dump turnips more quickly if you're getting pressured up close might be nice. What do you guys think? |

It's definitely a fine line, and I have to agree canceling into a grab would be way too good. If grabs are disabled, my first impression is that it doesn't seem too much more unreasonable than the side-B canceling into aerials. I would have to use it to pass any real judgment though.

I've made a few changes for her for the next update. -Parasol (closed) can now do the same interrupts as Bomber (attack, jump, dodge, etc), so she isn't as helpless if you wish. However, she doesn't get her parasol back unless she gets hit, touches ground or water, or grabs the edge. More or less, the same reasons she'd get it back anyway (same as MK's specials). -All of Dtilt's hitboxes now spike. Not a big one, but it's at least nice to have. |

Make Peach's ass grow 2X when she uses Bair, Bthrow, or Dthrow, or if you can't do modeling hacks (I don't know what you guys can really do), for lulz, make a random chance of Peach leaving a fart cloud with one of those moves like Wario does now. : ) Lmao, Peach uses Bthrow, farts, and does an extra 20% (but no extra knockback). Seem like a B- sort of thing? *Edit* I showed this idea to my friend, and he had this to say: "Yes, let's give Peach flatulence. When she does, she goes "Oh!"" Full credit to Kaizen from All is Brawl for that extra detail. |

The fart clouds aren't global, they belong to Wario and can only be used while Wario is in a match.

Damnit... there's no way to change that? How about spawning an invisible smoke ball on her butt for 30 frames when she Dthrows? And kudos to all the uses of farts you included with Wario, including making him fart when grab released. : ) And is it possible to make her butt grow when she does those moves, or is that out of the picture too? |
