Another thing. My argument does not rely on the idea of "Excessive Shield Usage". Not at all. Quite the opposite. It's actually happened during a battle where my shield broke, and I didn't even recall pressing the shield button. Maybe I was trying to roll away to get out of a crowded area or something, but I suddenly went from fighting to dizzy from a broken shield. Had I'd been Jigglypuff at that point, it would of been a stock loss literally out of nowhere. It may be only one example, but it's enough to tell me that the matter simply needs some time. Again, I'm not 100% against keeping the shield-break death. I just think it's smarter to play it safe, get a better short-term view of the developing metagame, then decide from there. Maybe if we were doing more group playtesting.... At least I wish I was. Only see lots of talking here and only the occasional Saturday brawling (which didn't happen last Saturday). |

Concerning that a fully charged anything from most characters should kill her anyway, it really doesn't make much of a difference. So I say keep it and make her OHKO anyone on the way up for lulz. |

apparently it's impossible to mess with shield like that.... except I saw a .pac in a smashboards thread where when the shield was released you released a small attack. "Galactic Metaknight", maybe that will lead to the secret of making both people die after a shield break(or at least doing a lot of damage to set up for a REALLY easy kill). |

no joke, make everyone die when their shield breaks. do it for the lulz... >_> plus it discourages defensive play. see, at least i can make up reasons instead of saying "because its funny lolooloolol!!!!1!1!11!!!" however, i am serious about making every character die on shield break. would set B- apart even more. |

Actually, Puff kiling on her way up would force players to use shield breakers in a way that they space themselves away from her while they chip it away.

Are we sure it's a good idea to have jiggs heal with her rest? I understand that she's a glass cannon, so her percentage barely matters. But against characters that aren't meant to combo, do we really want to make it MORE troublesome?

I played Jiggs a bit last night. It was a lot of fun. I really like the fact that here rest heals her. This was genius! Here's an idea: When she does rollout, she should grow in size while she charges. If she charges all the way to full (max size possible) and hit's an opponent's shield, it should break the shield. |

I was considering having Jigglypuff grow slightly each time she successfully performed a certain taunt. I don't know how to make people grow though, not to mention I'd have to balance out all her moves as I think her overall strength would multiply too along with her size.

well usually, with stuff like the super mushroom they already increase in power as they grow in size.... maybe if that's the case, then make jigglypuff start REALLY small? But this whole size changing ordeal might be too much... |

I could tell Jiggs has gotten a few nerfs to power but her positioning game is way better. This is good, given that she was massively OP in the wrong way beforehand, while she's massively OP in the right way now. I can honestly say that I can't see her needing any other majors tweaks. |

I had the most epic moment ever while playing against my friend who was playing Jiggz. I was kirby and I was in mid combo when I decide to hammer on the ground. I ended up nailing Jiggly's shield and broke it and she exploded and killed me as well ending the match. It was hilarious. Now I think I'm using a different/older version of kirby and possibly even Jiggz, but this single event made me love her shield popping. |

The shield break = death doesn't happen very often due to massive shield size, but when it does Jiggz shouldn't go quietly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7D5e7fQjMpk (skip to end) Maybe not quite that loud, though. If possible, maybe even have one of the taunts instantly break her own shield for a ninja-kamikaze effect? How about giving her a glide like MK, Pit, and Zard? You know, if possible. |
