Project M via USB Loader
05/21/2011, 10:25 AM
Post: #1
I'm relatively new to Project M, completely. So please bear with my noobishness.

Is there a way to get Project M working via USB Loader? If so, is there a tutorial that tells me what needs to be done? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

All i know is that you must turn on ocarina somewhere... so... you can try doing that while waiting for someone who actually knows what to do shows up...

Go through the options and turn on ocarina. Make sure to set a hooktype. I use VBI.

I was able to find where to turn on Ocarina, but where do I set a "hooktype"?

Oh. We don't have a PAL release of Project M.

I see.

So then, what would I need to do with an NTSC version?

So, in case someone is Googleing a solution to get this game working via USB Loader, please look at this:

http://gbatemp.net/t289911-project-m-pla...hard-drive

Ignore the part where it is mentioned that the current version will not work, I installed the latest version and it was working fine.

Looks like all I needed was google after all. Eyebrows

I'm from Europe, so I play P:M via USB loader GX all the time.
Get the newest forwarder version, and select your Brawl ISO. Click settings and enable Ocarina codes. The full channel/non-forwarder version is outdated and doesn't support .gct files with more than 255 lines of code.

So you can play via USB port using Ocarina or GX? I use NTSC version and cannot get P:M to work on my new Wii
