I'm going to learn the timing for that infinite if after testing I'm convinced of its legitness. "Remembers the crap Cape pulled with Ness" If its escapable than w/e but if not lolol... I'll learn to do it and abuse the crap out of it (until its changed) assuming it is at all humanly possible. This thing is insane. Seriously Ness is ridiculous. I look at Lucas and wonder if I can even break a character as hard as Ness was broken given that it is completely against my nature... on the other hand f*** Ness for having a magnet infinitely better than Lucas's. grrrrr note to self "break Lucas's psi-magnet as hard as Ness's is allowed to remain broken" That's my alternative to suggesting "nerf Ness", though I do think that is something we are going to have to do (infinites are never something to add into a game if they weren't there in the first place). If it is acceptable for Ness to be this good than it is also acceptable for other characters who require comparable practice and technique to utilize (and Lucas will be the most technical character in the game when I've finished with him) |

its not an infinite, you can only do it till you are out of footstools, his magnet has poor range and the footstool combo requires predicting their DI in a VERY small amount of time.

Veril isnt it not an infinite, its an extremely hard autocombo since aerial footstools dont work after, what was it, seven? You either can't or its extremely hard EDIT: I should have clicked submit before :E |

I'm liking the new attitude you've brought about designing characters Veril. It's not "Ok, Ness is too broken, nerf him.", it is instead "Ok, you are allowed to be as broken as Ness, let's make everyone that broken". That's a way more minusy approach to designing characters, I love it =)

GK, don't ever claim to know what I'm talking about or attribute anything to me in any way. Ever. @RKey: you missed the point. And no, I don't think everyone should be as good as Ness. If I have to be the guy who doesn't have that "minus spirit" well I'll take that as a compliment lol. @Everyone on the autocombo: good to know, the default footstool limit is 4 btw. |

umad? also, the footstool combo isnt very useful by itself however it can be used to rack on alil extra damage right before using a uair/bair for a finsiher |
