Let's make an interesting OP.

I haven't played marth that much, but I know aerial neutral b will be a huge part of his game. Flying out spiking people looks very cool ^_^

How's the new side-b doing? Haven't tried it.

My buddy is a Marth main in vbrawl and Brawl+, so he knows his character inside out.

What he likes about neutral B is in the air it sends him forward in minus.

What he hates is that on the ground it sends him backward in minus.

Any idea why its like that? Kinda makes it hard to hit the guy right next to you...

AFAIK it's to prevent marth from comboing the hell out of them. Kirk also put that in a long time ago probably as some sort of nerf.

As a Marfy main in B-, the only real problem is his lousy horizontal air movement in special fall.

its fine, glass canon status

plus marths grounded neutral b isnt even a nerf, it sets up for baiting spotdodge > tipper fsmash

iirc you can just jump and buffer neutral b and silde forward on the ground anytime anyways

GK has this one right. The grounded neutral b is really good. It makes it so you can get powershielded -> grab and gives you perfect spacing for fsmash.

My only complain about Marth is that you cannot "Up B" out of "Side B". It kills you a lot when you end up under the stage when you go to far before you can up B.

Ike can do anything out of his "Side B", I don't see why Marth shouldn't be able to do the same. Unless it's a coding problem.

Two different charcters, two different moves?

Side-b is changed a LOT in the unreleased build. Brace =)

Yeah, it's just I don't see why that would break Marth more than anything that others can do.

Oh God, whats gona happen to "Side-B"?!

Just use the shield breaker boost to recover. You can do it multiple times in a row, you can pivot it and you can perform any action right after. You can even use it to chase an opponent off-stage and use it again to return to the stage.

It could just be me, but I feel like the new Marth's spike is a little worse. The used to be able to combo with the sour spot and now you can't. Also his Up-B feels a lot weaker but that could be my imagination.
