So since Kirby absolutely BS rapes everything when he copies Pikachu...

Can the Neutral-B be changed? The jump cancel lets Kirby fire off a huge electric fence of Thundershocks that's hilarious to see but ridiculous to fight, speaking from a certain experience with friends.

Instead, can the range simply be increased? We know it already can orbit around small platforms, but can it be made so that say, a Pikachu that fires it on the left edge of FD will be able to hit someone hanging on the ledge on the other side? I'm not too sure if it's too broken or not, but having Kirby being an Electric type with the Levitate ability is agitating enough.

thats just dumb and so is kirby in general

and tbh kirby is already WAY better than pika with electricity(in vbrawl he can have like 4 out at once absurdly close to each other) with out the jump cancel so why not just take it away?

You guys keep saying everything will be dealt with in 2.0 but don't really give much of a hint as to HOW. :l

Because everything requires discussion, and we need to make sure we handle it properly. We haven't quite touched hats as of yet, as they're more intricate to work with.

It's not like posting stuff in the forums could make it worse. All that could happen is that we give you ideas that you may or may not use.

I suspect it's mostly because we're getting bored of the most recent B- build and getting eager to play the upcoming one, which is supposedly going to have ASSLOADS OF OVERHAULS and new changes for everyone. How long ago was the last release? July, wasn't it?

What to do? Rather simple. Update the Brawl Minus Youtube channel a lot more, for one. Maybe even allow downloads of abandoned .pacs of characters. You guys are already modifying intellectual property, so there's no point in withholding it from others that do the same, let alone taking credit for it.

Or maybe you could just make the next release the final release if you're putting so much effort into making it balanced.

We are trying to do this currently, the BMBR just has some people that have some school stuff in the way or work stuff at the moment. We will be updating with more stuff though. Do you guys want videos to show off new stuff specifically or do you guys want matches showing new characters even if we don't show the newest thing. IE: kirby fire dash attack.

No, just no. If we have an idea we want to test out and it doesn't work out and won't be in 2.0, why allow someone else to use it for that time only?

This is probably the case, due to the large amount of hype from Project M, unstoppabrawl, or balanced brawl. Sad

There's unstoppabrawl and BB hype? Really?

Aren't they already finished and mediocre?

I didn't mean to say they had hype. I meant that they were there but the only other mod that has hype is PM.

No, just no. If we have an idea we want to test out and it doesn't work out and won't be in 2.0, why allow someone else to use it for that time only?

...because some of us:
  1. Make our own .pacs to mess around with.
  2. Have difficulty using Tabuu to edit PACs.
  3. Have an easier time copying something than waiting for a response on some forum to tell you how to do it
  4. Don't give half a shit about balance.

Suppose for contradiction, you did allow downloads of said characters. What harm comes from it? At the worst, accidental massive server overload from "huge" wave of PSA users. Second worst? some dumbass claims one as his own and uploads it to kc-mm, where it will be mass-reported for theft by B-'s theoretically massive community. There is no harm to come from it; it's not like they'll be Official Brawl Minus stuff. Hell, my friends and I play Brawl Minus with vBrawl hitstun and my own personal Mario and Sonic .pacs (since you guys are taking forever to fix the fail in them)

What good reason is there to be stingy?

That's silly. I bet you can't even explain how it'd be shitty.

Well, the problem with constantly uploading stuff, is that eventually people will lose interest.
2.0 will probably be the final build, outside of editing glitches, and outrageous balance issues.

It's why b+ failed, and they had more following when they came out... so we'd have no chance with constant updates.
