Since I took Xyless up on helping him build Peach, I've done a few things to the character that would make her a more enjoyable, more fitting competitive opponent. In fact, I dare say we've raised her up at least A tier by now. Combining ideas for vBrawl Peach's competitive "advanced techs" I thought it'd be a nice build to include all of those techs but make them user friendly. Some of the techs she already had in minus 1.6
Some techs I've build into her since then
Some things I've considered doing.
anyone got any suggestions? any vBrawl advanced techs we're missing and could do with making more user friendly? I'm open for anything ![]() Also, NERF suggestions are welcomed too. |

i say increase the hitbox size of the up smash, so it can have similar range to zelda's or lucas's up smash's. and increase priority on her down air. also increase the hitbox slightly on the side smash. and most importantly, make the the side b reach longer, its range is too short. and nerfing? why nerf? she can barely beat half of the other brawl- characters. |

I almost forgot, please take out the stalling "taunt" fthrow. It's not funny or cool, it just screams "come break this throw" in a ffa or teams.

Yeah i agree with TL. either that or make the move actually execute faster.

Hmm, quite frankly, I like the slow down on fthrow, but idk.

We discussed holding down a button to do or not do the slowdown. In 1 vs 1, it's funny. In doubles it's sad. I think one of the better ideas was holding down shield when using ZSS or Peach's Dthrow would make them run at the old speed. I like the slowdowns until they effect gameplay. I also like yelling "This is fun" in a raspy voice. Does anyone else feel that there are too many pluckable things? We have all the different levels of turnip, Beam Sword, Bob-omb, Pitfall, Smokeball, am I missing anything? It's like going up to your locker on the first day of high school and calmly putting in your combination. Except it doesn't work. So you stand there like an idiot twirling the lock around and around gradually getting madder and madder until you have to ask a janitor for help. I guess the point of that story was that having so much stuff actually makes her worse in a way because she has less control. She can just stand there plucking and plucking until BAM, 5 Ftilts in a row from Wolf. I'd like less variety along with either higher chances of better turnips or making every turnip have a use that is not overshadowed by another one (with the exception of Stitchface). |

Sooo is Bair going to turn into a reverse version of Side B? I sincerely hope it is. In fact, I don't care if you guys do it, I'm going to put that in my own hack for her now. Also, variable altitude floating, "poison" turnip that does flower damage, "Giant" turnip that's heavy but painful, "tiny" turnip that's the exact opposite, and "healing" turnip that does exactly as it says. If you're going to keep the sword, lip's stick, and other junk, do something with Peach's swinging animations for them or something. Reflection? Super Lunge-Stab? Multi-hit Tilt? I don't know. |

her Bair is already a simi Backwards boomer. I gave her the quick Bair ability already. I think they included it in 1.6 but if not it's definitely in the next release. So will be my wario too I think. I also believe that there are too many items in her arsenal. I was considering dropping Smokeballs and pitfall seeds. I tried to get her to be able to have a slim chance of plucking star shots but failed. It was a cool concept but didn't happen. I made her pluck a snorlax once but for some reason it doesn't quite work all the time XD |

Assuming you mean plucking the pokemon out of the pokeball, that's awesome. If that works, that should definitely be used. Have you considered dropping any of the other items? My ideal system for the turnips (assuming nothing hilarious that never glitches is discovered) is giving every turnip a distinct appearance and use. In addition to the faces, what do you think about giving them slightly different shades so they can be more easily differentiated? |

No she plucked snorlax directly from the ground and he activated himself and KO'd the computer I was playing against. But I don't want to do that. it was just a lulzy test. as for turnips. We're able to chagne their faces but changing the hue or color of the actual turnip itself would be a universal change - they're all just faces attached to the same colored turnip. best you could hope for is someone to cleverly create a face with a kind of hue in the face image that would make the turnip distinguishable that way. |
