Grappler Bowser?

A fact that continues to astound me! Also, I think you should be able to theorymon exactly how this would turn out. The programming change is pretty major, but the resulting game mechanic change is fairly minor: Bowser gets a bit more armor here and there but it's all removed during hitstun. This makes him able to tank a few things he couldn't otherwise tank, yet be combo'd by many things he couldn't otherwise be combo'd by. This will allow Bowser's opponents more combo options (fun for them) while retaining all of Bowser's approach shutdowns (fun for Bowser) plus a few more (more fun for Bowser). It just increases viable attack options for both sides of the fight, and other than programming difficulty I don't see what's not to like. Even if the playtest proves it horrible somehow, I'd say it's worth that risk.

Plus, TheEffingBear came up with most of it and he's AnEffingGenius.
