When Demo2 is released, I'll be coming back here with PSIMag, Yo-Yo, and PSI Fire discussion.

Er. PK Fire, because for some reason they don't bother Woolseyising that for smash.

Now that PK-Fire hits on shield, If you can catch someone shielding and SHFFL bAirs, I think there's a good chance of shield breaks.

I'll get some gameplay up once I meet up with friends and stuff. I'm not too keen on them EB kids but have a friend who loves them. I'm sure we'll see some interesting stuff.

I just love how low you can DJC u-air and still get the hitbox out. Maybe I just got a lot faster, but it seems like it's much lower than in melee, you barely leave the ground.
And I need to experiment with DJC-canceling by landing on platform with the first part of the jump ( It really reminds me of Yoshi's DJC much more) and going into any other move.

DJC u-air to platform -> DJC land cancel(? I'm sure there is a term for it) tech chase -> F-smash.

It seems that DJ dair to uair combos nicely into kills off the top on high percentage=)...

Does PM Ness' fair have less knockback and hitstun than in Melee? It seems impossible to tell what's actually changed and what's a Brawllusion because everything's tweaked from Brawl/64 and it's been a really awkward transition. I miss the old dtilt and dair but everything else is pretty cool. He needed the Brawl PKT and PK Fire on shield is awesome.

Actually, I was wondering if there could be anymore usage for the Magnet special?

I had a few ideas in mind that I would post later. The other thing was regarding the possibility of making pk thunder cancel-able via shield press or something of that nature.

Ness DJC works sort of.....

He CAN'T DJC FF uair/fair anymore. He could in melee. Its not much, but there has been many a time that I havent hit because Ness hits the ground before the aerial fully comes out. moves to come out.

I think the reasoning for this is, I think in brawl you can intitiate a DJ on like frame 1 when leaving the ground. Where in melee you have to wait ever so slightly. Reason I say this is because I went and played melee right after. And i did the exact same timing for the DJC as I was doing in the demo. Ness in melee doesnt even initiate the second jump when using the timing in the demo. It like in melee there is a delay to when you can Double jump after the inital jump, where in brawl there isnt.

I can DJC infinatly closer to the ground in the demmo over melee, which is causing most problems.

Uploaded some Ness videos of my matches on my channel.

I think Ness is pretty good but he takes a lot of practice to make all the DJC and DJ options ingrained to muscle memory. He has so many good options as a character.

How do you miss the old dair when the new one is better in every way? (except for some obscure interaction with djc)

I'm guessing this is caused by one of our known issues. We are still working on fixing the fact that all physics calculations take effect a frame late in Brawl/PM. This means that, when you jump, you don't actually move up on the first frame. So, using the same timing in pm would leave you one frame worth of height lower compared to Melee, which is a big height difference at the beginning of a jump.

I love Ness. The new ability they gave back to his jump is so so helpful. Now I can do any aerial and land almost as soon as the move is over and Lcancel to something else. It really helps his combo game and fighting style in general. I pretty much like everything about the new Ness except for his Dtilt being reverted back to 64.

I love the ability to charge the smashes over the edge like from melee V1.0. That was a really nice touch, along with the fact the charge hitbox on his U/Dsmash are now multihit.

PSI Mag could stand to be a lot better. He can use it for mixups like Mario uses his cape, but because he can't JC it until it goes into its ending animation, it's not as useful as I'd like. I know there are people who'd like a hitbox on it, but personally I'd only want to see that if it was on the ending portion of the move, and of it could be jump canceled only on the non-ending parts of the move.

New dair doesn't auto-cancel like Melee's.
