While the sweetspot certainly is a lot easier to land than in Brawl, it still doesn't feel like it was the same as it was in Melee, and I don't think its landing detection either. Was the hitboxes or startup time changed from Melee in anyway at all? I still feel like I can't land it as well. Also, I feel like the easter egg should activate automatically, uptaunt seems a little bothersome to reach to when I'm trying to follow up with a combo, and I don't think a single Falcon main would oppose to having it activate every single time. |

Hearing the easter egg every time you sweetspot knee people even when shielding it would be annoying, so sorry it's not going to be made to happen every time. If there was anything different from Melee about the knee it'd have been changed before the demo to BE Melee. So right now, yes, it's fully Melee anything you think it's not is placebo and johns (johns because "oh I can't land it"). |

I found the timing of the easter egg and the critical knee at least in my case happen all the time now well in the demo at least. In otherwords if you use both in conjuction with another its a good timer to try and aim for. Not sure if it helps but my controller setup is X-Grab Y-Jump Z-Jump R-shield/L-cancel L-Utaunt/footstool |

he means input the knee and the utaunt at the same time when in reality you can tape down utaunt and as long as it's held down it'll work when you hit. |

he (sevin) has uptaunt set to L so he can use fair and hit uptaunt at the same time. where as if it was the directional button you would give up your air control to hit the taunt, which (@jackpot), if you go for the taunt knee alot, would F up your spacing and also be the reason you cant hit the knee as esily. also, you could set your unused jump button (i use x to jump, so mine is y) to the footstool/ uptaunt and it may make hitting it more accesible while going for the knee. |

Meh, I'll just edit the PAC files, it's just an SFX and it's not worth switching controls for it, especially since I use both jump buttons. Saying "YESZ!" everytime isn't that bad, just look at Brawl-.

4 month late post to thread, *cough* What if it automatically did the "Yes!" taunt if the opponent is over 100%? 120%? 150%? or something along those lines. That way it's not an inconvenience to some people who want to hear it, and you won't have Falcon screaming Yes when the opponent is at 0% beforehand and moves a couple inches. |

Wow, I completely forgot he did that. The "Yes", I mean. I approve of an automatic, condition based Yes. Having to press an extra button for something that might not happen is just... dude.

to know he went through the trouble of holding down another button for the killing move makes it all the better, like spiking an already out of recovery opponent, moonwalking, taunt ledge canceling.
