FLUDD is useless

FLUDD cannot even manage to push your enemies away, at best it will only slow them down. And using Mario's cape instead makes FLUDD completely obsolete.

I'd say replace water it spews with some other projectile. Perhaps more Mario Fire Balls. Or Bowser's flame. Or give it freezing abilities.

It is completely useless. I don't think Mario needs another gimping move. It should probably either do damage or stun. Freezing is an interesting idea though. And there should be like, a point to charging it. You fully charge it and absolutely nothing happens.

I've always felt like he should have the tornado, like in ssb64 and I think Melee. I would put his dair back to a drill, also like in 64. Even in vBrawl, FLUDD seemed to me like a gimmick that was really only useful against Ness or Lucas.

If they can in contact with water for a certain amount of time, they should get frozen. An instant freeze would be to broken, and freezing is an interesting concept for Mario.

I don't like freeze from any perspective. If your frozen, you go flying with nothing to do. If you freeze the opponent, you can't really continue your combo. Freezing slows down the game, and makes it boring.

I was thinking that it should freeze if the take the whole 12 damage fludd deals. If opponent is in the air and off stage at that point, they fall and die. That's really the only way I see freezing useful without being retardly good.

The point of freezing is to hit your opponent when they can't do anything. And freezing doesn't have to knock them out of your reach. It can freeze them in place so they fall towards you

Though if it doesn't freeze, it could like shoot a bob-bomb or something. Or it could be like charge version of Bowser and Charizard's fire breath. Fully charged goes farther or something.

and then it would of/c have crazy distance/speed right? Luigi already has the tornado, it should be something more original, i was liking those freezing ice ideas, or could it be renovated so that it's water but when the actual water hits them it makes wind-boxes that then spike them, or that it trips people on-stage, or it should propel mario upward like a third jump like it would in the sunshine game (and it's propel distance would vary on how much you charged it)

I think he should raise upward while spraying the FLUDD- like the 2nd ability in sunshine where the nozzle splits into 2 nozzeletes and sprayed himself upward with 2 streams, it would require a 2nd water effect below him though- and possibly a FLUDD model change to include 2 nozzles behind him, o and maby it could actually be a real 2nd FLUDD water being sprayed below him that would send people below him downward from the water force

.. or possibly easier/better idea just keep the normal FLUDD model and straight water shooting but when he aims it downwards he raises diagonally up and backward and then if you fire it upward you go downward and backward, and then just backward if it has no up or downward aim, then he could jump off a stage and fire it downward at someone but then raise up while hes doing it, idk if this is possible but you guys programmed lucas to have weird backwards inertia when using side tilt/downtilt- or somehow put water/wind hitboxes that are invisible be sprayed on Mario that are in reverse direction he is spraying

-and maby you could make it more rotational, so that it could be fired straight down or up, and rotate faster, and shoot faster but keep its length of firing, o and be ground cancel-able so he could jump and fire it to reach a guy kicked off the stage but when he lands it ends immediately and he can jump and F-smash them .. he would want that method for people with good recoveries that still survive just the FLUDD . or just remove the ending part of it when it runs out of water and just spits a few drops

For the rocket thing, what if that becomes Up B while Fludd is out? They would probably have to make it so that Fludd is always out when it has water charged.

FLUDD gives another moveset? I really like that line of thinking (Ike's charged B, Ganon's taunt, FLUDD, etc. giving a new moveset) but it's so much work, the coders don't think it's worth it. Plus, the new Up-B idea is impossible without building another animation frame by frame, so that idea has no chance.
