I hope he's not MK tier in vBrawl... wouldn't be surprised, but I'm still shooting for Marth level. --- On-topic, I'd just like to say that I very much enjoyed the elemental side+B we had. Didn't really care for the aerial side+B though. |

zero is mk tier in vbrawl dude. he has falco good projectile game, falcon good mobility, and mk good spacing. mathematically however those characters combined = marth. so he should go unchanged. |

How about letting marth's down air spike on all hitboxes? Also, hows about putting windboxes in front of counter to draw in attacks?

I realize that this thread is terribly old... But... I just can't let the below comment stand with only GK saying something about it.(06/24/2010 05:24 PM)TL? Wrote: How about letting marth's down air spike on all hitboxes? Also, hows about putting windboxes in front of counter to draw in attacks? While we're at it, why not just have all of the hitboxes on all of his moves be a tipper! Or just make every move do 999% damage! In all seriousness, I laughed so hard when I saw this post 2 months ago or so. Ever since, whenever I spike someone with Marth's Dair (all the time), I turn to them and yell "ALL THE HITBOXESSSS!!!!". Only one of my friends actually understands my reference, but I find it funny every time, and that's all that matters. ![]() There is no reason that Marth's spike should be any easier to pull off. With the enormous increase on the tip of his sword, anyone with even DECENT timing can spike most opponents out of their recovery (if they happen to get themselves stuck in a spikeable position) Minus Marth is a near perfect character, very good, but not broken beyond belief. Improving his Dair would just be ludicrous. |

I don't want to have to use skill to spike people! No but seriously, if Falco's spike remains as retarded as it is, then Marth's shouldn't be changed. At least Marth's still requires some timing, whereas with Falco, you can just bash your face against the controller while off the ledge, and guarantee yourself a spike with "ALL THE HITBOXESSS" and all of the frames, AND be able to recover with 400 jumps and a B-Up that is better than Fox's. Marth may be 2gud, but Falco is 2gay <3 |

Kinda reminds of how ZSS is now. A sexkick that is a spike ALLLLLLLLLLLL THE TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????!? There's no timing involved in that. Just D-Air, and anyone that touches you for 5 seconds dies. BTW, was the number of Ls, Is, and question marks I used too much? I wanted to join in on the joke, but I felt I went overboard. |

I knew I overdid it somewhere coughcougheverywherecoughcough. I'll keep it to just all caps. It gets my point across well enough. Now to get back on topic... Just hit someone with Airial B -> spike. The guy I did that to sat there in shock for a full 5 minutes. |

I agree Raynotac, ZSS's spike is incredibly good. Even on par with Falco's Dair I'd say, in terms of how long it lasts/priority/hitstun. However, as a whole I think it's balanced. Having a tether recovery makes her off-the-edge-work fairly risky. Falco can just triple jump his ass across the world and then still have his UpB
